Hope Shines Bright at Fisher Mall’s Christmas Celebration for Cancer Patients
Christmas shone brighter this year at Fisher Mall as its Quezon Avenue and Malabon branches launched “A Holiday of Hope,” a festive tree-lighting celebration dedicated to community and compassion. Families, shoppers, partners, and local officials came together to welcome the season and support a meaningful cause. “Fisher Mall has always believed in creating spaces where people feel connected,” said Raymond Del Rosario, President of the Fisher Mall Group of Companies.
The celebration showcased the best of local talent, featuring performances by the Quezon City Symphonic Band, the Malabon Concert Singers, and Ballet Manila. Guests also enjoyed interactive activities and a charming Christmas-themed LEGO display by the PinoyLUG community led by Leslie Araujo, bringing joy and nostalgia to both kids and adults. The presence of Quezon City officials further highlighted the shared commitment to culture, creativity, and community engagement.
Del Rosario emphasized that Fisher Mall’s activity centers serve as open platforms for performers, cultural groups, and local organizations. By giving communities a space to gather and express themselves, the mall continues to strengthen collaboration with local government units and expand opportunities for shared experiences.
Beyond the festivities, Fisher Mall turned holiday traditions into acts of giving. Through the Fisher Elite Card, a portion of every card sold until December 31, 2025, at the Fisher Mall Supermarket and Fisher Department Store will help sustain Bahay Aruga – A Free Halfway House for Cancer Patients. This initiative reflects the mall’s mission to celebrate the season with purpose and extend hope to those who need it most. - Teddy Pelaez
